Chef Keshlah Smith-Clarke culinary career began early at the age of 7 and was, inspired by her Grandmother with her love and respect for quality foods and tradition. After graduating from the Westminster College Now Kings College in London, England at age 20, Smith- Clarke sought opportunities to further develop her own creativity. Smith-Clarke culinary repertoire flourished during an internship at Marriott Bond Street, followed by small restaurants as Chef de Partie, throughout London and Whales where she developed and refined her culinary techniques. She proceeded back home to the Bahamas with a BA in Culinary Arts, BA in Restaurant Management & Associates Degree in Nutrition. Upon returning home, Chef Keshlah extended her skills at Doctors Hospital Blake Rd Facility as Executive Chef. From there she worked as Banquet Chef for Sandals Royal Bahamian executing weddings and special events. After spending 3 years with Sandals, Chef Keshlah moved on to fine-tuned her Baking skills at Purity Bakery Bahamas as Production Bakery Manageress. 4 years passed, and it was time to grow again. Chef Keshlah moved to family islands where she was Restaurant Director for two Boutique Hotels, where she was in charge of restaurant design and management of Front and back of House. She then moved on to South America, where she was the Executive Chef in Panama and Operation Director for Klipper Group of Companies in Ecuador. Moved back to the Bahamas where she started Healthy Concepts Bahamas ltd and Chef Keshlah Smith- Clarke ltd. In 2014 Chef took over the kitchen at the recently-opened Jemi Healthy & Wellness where she created and branded the now WorkSpace Cafe by Healthy Concepts where she holds the title of Culinary Artist. Also, that same year, Chef became and International Certified Butler as well as a mother for the first time to Ms. Katalayea Today, Chef Keshlah can be found spearheading new projects and revamping existing concepts, but mostly focusing on intimate Private Chef/Butler Services Chef K as she is called by returning clients that are now family, has been the Private Chef of Conor McGregor, Megan Kelly & Doug Bunt, Former Ambassador from the Bahamas to England O'Brien, Chief Justice Sir Michael Barnett, Robert & Sheila Pritchard, contract clients for Albany Bahamas & Ocean Club amongst others..
