Chef Tevin Kemp, known for his "WOW" creativity and engaging smile was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. His interest in food stems from his childhood spending most of his time in his father's kitchen constantly cooking up new savory dishes. It was during this time, his passion for Caribbean flavors was honed which propelled him in the culinary arena. As a certified Sous Chef, Tevin enrolled in the Associates Program at the University of The Bahamas, School of Culinary Arts where he further developed his respect for great ingredients and techniques that remain his hallmark of his style. He practiced his skills at resorts and restaurant including five-star Sandals Resort and the four-diamond award-winning Flying Fish Gastro Bar. Chef Tevin has a solid educational foundation and passion for international cuisine, specifically French, Italian, Asian, Hibachi, Caribbean, Mediterranean and Hypoallergenic. Tevin returned to Nassau in 2017 to join the opening culinary team at Cleo Mediterráneo, Baha Mar. He is currently the Sous Chef of Dario Cecchini's Steak house, Carna, Baha Mar. In 2018 he landed a position on the Bahamas National Culinary Team as Seafood Chef where he constantly competes abroad including Taste of The Caribbean.
